1. General Terms:
By submitting an order to Layers 3D Printing, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
All orders are subject to feasibility based on material availability and design complexity.
Layers 3D Printing reserves the right to reject any project deemed technically or legally inappropriate.

2. Quotation and Approval:
Customers must approve the provided quotation in writing and complete the agreed payment before production begins. Delayed payments may result in delivery delays.
Quotations are based on the specifications provided by the customer. Any changes after approval may lead to adjustments in pricing.

3. Samples:
Customers are required to pay for any sample prints. If the project proceeds as per the approved sample, the sample cost will be deducted from the total project cost.
Additional costs will apply for repeated sample modifications. Only the final modification cost will be deducted from the project total.
Sample costs are non-refundable if the project is not approved or proceeds differently.

4. File Requirements:
Customers must provide 3D files ready for printing in STL or OBJ formats.
Layers 3D Printing does not provide design corrections or enhancements unless explicitly requested and quoted separately.
We are not responsible for design flaws, structural weaknesses, or inaccuracies in the files provided by the customer.

5. Production and Delivery Time:
Delivery times depend on project complexity and will be confirmed upon order acceptance.
Delivery timelines begin only after customer approval and receipt of payment. Layers 3D Printing reserves the right to withhold the printed object until full payment is received.
If required materials are unavailable, additional time will be added, and the customer will be notified during project confirmation.
Unforeseen technical issues may cause production delays, and customers will be notified immediately.

6. Print Variations and Surface Quality:
FDM Prints (PLA Plastic): Lower quality with a lower price point. Dimensional accuracy varies by ±0.1 to ±0.5 mm.
SLA Prints (Resin): Dimensional accuracy varies by ±0.25 mm.
Surface imperfections such as layer lines, support marks, or minor distortions may occur due to the nature of 3D printing.
Polishing is not included unless specifically requested and quoted separately.
Larger prints (exceeding 30x30x30 cm) may be divided into multiple parts and assembled post-printing. Customers will be informed of this in advance.

7. Payment Terms:
Full payment is required before production begins unless otherwise agreed.
Invoices must be settled within the specified payment terms. Delayed payments may result in delivery delays.
Customers may not request tax invoice adjustments after the tax declaration for the invoice cycle has been submitted.

8. Delivery and Pickup:
Pickup from Office:
Customers must collect their orders from the Layers 3D Printing office located in Abu Dhabi – Al Musaffah Industrial Area, Building C222, during official working hours.
Customers must notify us in advance to ensure a staff member is available for handover.
Pickups are not available on official holidays or outside working hours.
Delivery:
Delivery is facilitated through local shipping companies. Layers 3D Printing is not responsible for delivery delays or customer unavailability during delivery attempts.
Shipping is typically arranged after printing is completed, with pickup on the following day and delivery the day after. This timeframe is not included in the project delivery period.
Deliveries are not made on official holidays.
Shipping fees must be paid in advance with the order. No additional payments should be made to the delivery personnel unless explicitly agreed upon.

9. 3D Design Services:
Layers 3D Printing offers 3D design services based on customer requirements. The customer is responsible for providing all necessary information, measurements, and reference materials.
Pricing for design services is based on the estimated time required to complete the design.
Layers 3D Printing will bear any underestimation of design time and cost, provided it does not exceed 50% of the agreed price. The customer will be notified in advance if additional costs are expected.
The customer is entitled to one free revision after the initial design is presented. Up to three additional revisions are allowed if the design does not match the provided drawings or measurements.
Layers 3D Printing reserves the right to stop revisions if the number of requested modifications exceeds the allowed limit.
Final design files will be delivered only after the design is completed and full payment is received.

10. Cancellation and Refunds:
Orders cannot be canceled once production has started.
Refunds will only be issued if Layers 3D Printing fails to deliver the printed product due to technical errors.

11. Warranty (7-Day Coverage):
The warranty covers:
Material defects arising during the printing process.
Significant layer bonding issues or distortions exceeding acceptable tolerances.
The warranty does not cover:
Defects resulting from errors in customer-provided files, such as:
Poor design structure or unsupported geometry.
Thin walls or fragile parts unsuitable for 3D printing.
Issues caused by customer misuse, including:
Mechanical or stress-related failures due to improper handling or use.
Exposure to environmental factors like heat, humidity, or chemicals.
Post-processing modifications such as painting, gluing, or improper assembly.
Functional failures or assembly issues unless explicitly tested and approved beforehand.

12. Customer Responsibilities:
Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate printing material and technology for their application.
Layers 3D Printing provides guidance but is not liable for incorrect material or technology choices.
Customers are responsible for proper care and handling of printed parts after delivery.

13. Liability Disclaimer:
Layers 3D Printing is not liable for:
Damages, injuries, or losses resulting from the use of printed parts.
Any indirect or consequential damages.
Customers assume all risks associated with the use of printed parts, including functional, decorative, or experimental applications.

14. Intellectual Property:
All files provided by the customer remain their intellectual property.
Layers 3D Printing guarantees that customer files will not be shared or distributed without consent.

15. Confidentiality:
All project details are treated as confidential.

16. Dispute Resolution:
Disputes will be resolved amicably. If unresolved, legal action may be pursued under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
